A very attractive antique ceramic scent bottle. The silver screw cap is complete with the cork liner. The bottleneck is fluted and glazed in green and orange, the bottle itself has a textured finish. It is decorated with a gilded flower arrangement and is marked underneath with a registration number 97198. (Indicating registration in 1888). The silver top is hallmarked for Birmingham 1897/8 and carries the maker’s mark GW. Maker is possibly Taylor Tunnicliffe.
